Le Courrier 2010 concours de photo

Le Courrier annonce aujourd'hui le Prix “Talents d'Afrique, des Caraïbes et du Pacifique, le concours photo”, qui comme son nom l'indique, s'adresse aux jeunes photographes des pays ACP.

Avec ce Prix, Le Courrier cherche à promouvoir la visibilité de jeunes artistes et à encourager l'usage de la photographie en tant qu'instrument de description et de réflexion sur la société et le monde qui nous entoure.

La thématique est large et invite à la réflexion sur l'une des questions les plus complexes de notre époque.

Les thèmes portent sur l'échange, la tradition, la science, la technologie, le changement climatique et sur leur relation avec le développement.

Le vainqueur sera sélectionné par un jury international de professionnels de la photo et recevra la somme de 1000 euros. Il est également prévu l'organisation d'évènements et d'expositions à Bruxelles.

2010 ACP Photo Competition

Today The Courier launched the "African, Caribbean and Pacific Talents: a Photo Award".

As the title suggests, this competition is open to young photographers from ACP countries.

Through this competition, The Courier aims to increase the visibility of young photographers and encourage the use of photography as a tool to reflect and describe the society and the world around us.

The theme of the award is broad, and represents an invitation to investigate some of the most complex issues of our time.

The topics are:

Trade, Culture, Tradition, Science and technology, Climate change and their relations with development.

The winner will be selected by an international jury made up of professionals in the field, and will receive 1,000 euros.

Events and exhibitions will also be held in Brussels.
